You guys will kick yourselves when you find out.

Maybe a blade out shot would have been helpful to start. My bad. ::facepalm::

Still no's.

The brand and pattern number are etched on the blade. The tang is stamped with a phrase on the mark side.

I've got one ready to post if you'll all allow me an indulgence.

I enjoy collecting old kitchen cutlery, particularly pieces made by or on contract for the well known pocket knife brands.

This is one such knife, a carver etched with a well known brand. I promise it's a company you all know. Its American, I believe it's from the 40's.

Care to play?

That's the one. Love this knife. Harder than most to photograph that etch without seeing my ugly mug in the reflection.

My "Mystery Knife."

Clues:
U.S.A. Made.
Two Blades.
Two Tang Stamps.
Two Springs.
3 3/8" Closed.

The Main Tang Stamp Is NOT The Manufacturer.
I Want The Name On The Tang Stamp. Two Words, Ten Letters Total.
The Other Tang Stamp Is The Pattern Number, Extra Credit For It.
This Trademark Or Brand Of Pocket Knife Has Its Own Forum/Sub-Forum, Here On AAPK.
I Do NOT Know What Cutlery Company Made This Pocket Knife.
I DO Know That More Than One Cutlery Company COULD Have Made This Pocket Knife.
This Trademark Or Brand Of Pocket Knife Is VERY POPULAR.
I'll Repeat This Particular Clue:
This Trademark Or Brand Of Pocket Knife Has
