Instructions for entering the giveaway...This month we have one of the most special giveaways that I have witnessed in the 13 years that I have been a part of this knife community. Cindy Sorensen, the widow of Brian Sorensen (Ivoryman) has decided to honor her fallen husband by giving away his George Wostenholm whittler. As many of you know, Brian was a huge fan of all things ivory, especially genuine ivory like this knife which personifies the reason for his passion. In hand it is simply stunning.
The Elephant Ivory covers are without chips or cracks. The unsharpened and unused stainless-steel spear point and spey blades have no half stop and snap firmly when opened and locked and closes with zero side-to-side play when fully extended. The brass liners and stainless-steel frame and pins are in fine condition given the age of this knife.
The Sorensen family has asked me to help redistribute I-Man's knife collection to good homes that might want a knife or two with a heartfelt connection to Brian. I am honored to be asked to support the wishes of Brian's widow Cindy.
