Beautiful Q, I sold one that I had not too long ago. That knife has an interesting story. I think it was the only Damascus knife Queen ever produced, if I am not mistaken. It’s unique and good looking.

Mahalo, Mark Yes, this Justin Gingrich Ranger Series Damascus Tactical is an odd one for sure. I haven't been able to find any information about it or even a brief mention that would acknowledge its manufacture and existence in any Queen literature or catalog guide. I know that Queen made other locking knives: Lock Backs = #1L (Swing Guard), #3L (Mountain Man); and, Liner Locks = #6L (Teardrop), #41L (Copperhead). And they also made a line of tactical knives: Q-Tac series. But, I am not aware if Queen ever used Damascus steel for any other knife blades I can't think of any examples of Queen Damascus knives that I've seen, but maybe someone else with more knowledge about that will chime in and enlighten me

Thanks Q, You are right it was the Damascus that was unique. I knew it was either the lockback or the Damascus that was unique, I chose the wrong one. I edited my post so as to not spread incorrect information on the web.

Listed this one for sale last night. I have the entire set of 6 of these. Made by Canal Street Cutlery for Rigid. United Cutlery pulled the plug on this project in mid stream. Smoky Mountain Knife Works stepped in and bought them and sold them on their Kniveslive TV show back in 2007.
This is a gunstock made with ACSB. Really nice ACSB on all of these.

Here's a slight variation on the ACSB theme......I don't know what Case called the bone on this 2011 T.B.62117 Swayback Jack (the sticker was missing from the collector tin when I got it), but the jigging and color are about the closest thing to ACSB I've ever seen on a Case knife.

So, what'd'ya think...Is it close enough to qualify as ACSB (or perhaps ACSB adjacent)?

Aloha, Q... Beautiful Swayback & I would agree that this is the closest thing to ACSB I have seen on a Case knife. I believe this is one variation of their Chestnut Bone and some refer to it as "Deep Canyon Chestnut", but from the limited research I have done, I think they may just call it Chestnut. You will see in the attached pictures that the item numbers on the 2 different pattern knives from 2011 are very close (15271 & 15278), so I would imagine the Swayback box also says Chestnut if we could see the bottom of the label.
