Here is another Bulldog to start the day. A previous owner started to sharpen this knife. They did not actually sharpen it - just put a number of small scratches on the blade.

Got this one in a trade with AAPK member "Elvis" many moons ago. Love the graceful curves.

That knife does have nice curves, Q. The curve of the handle really complements the curve of the blade.
That is another really beautiful old Wharncliffe, Joe! Maybe it is because I am old, but I really like those knives that have seen some use but still look good.
Interesting knives. All three of those are a bit out of the mainstream for Case Seahorses. What is the handle material on the middle knife?knifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 3:51 pm A few Seahorse Whittlers picked up in a recent trade.
I can see why that would be a favorite!

The middle one has Mammoth Ivory scales and the other two are Yellowhorse customs with Native & Hammered Steel blades.Dinadan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 11:53 pmInteresting knives. Re: It's Wharncliffe Wednesday!
Seems like the Wharncliffes are tapering off. That is a shame since this thread has showcased some really fine knives. I still have a few, though perhaps not so many as I suggested in a recent post. Here is a Hibbard Spencer-Bartlett and Co.
The reflection of my hand was an accident, but when I did a second photo to get rid the reflection, I decided I preferred the one with the lapis ring.

I don't know about the rest of you Wharn-nuts but I'm marking time by Wharncliffe Wednesday; it's become the highlight of my week
Always look forward to seeing entries from the regulars (Mel, Joe, bigh, Kevin) as well as the occasional drop-ins and any random first-timers
I got this little Rigid Top-Loc in a swap with former AAPK member PCWizard before he moved to the great state of Texas and left me as the sole surviving member in Hawaii a few years ago. The ergonomic cocobolo handle is so smooth and sexy it just begs to be coon-fingered lovingly and frequently. I can't carry this one because I can't keep my hand from constantly caressing it in my pocket and I'm afraid people might get the wrong idea and wonder what's going on down there

You’ve been holding out on us, Floyd
Do you happen to know what kind of wood is on your Sheffield lambfoot?

Thanks, Q. That Rigid is a sweet looking knife: I can see why you like fingering it! Did you notice that I beat you to the post by just two minutes this morning?

Thanks, Doglegg.
I like those two you posted. Especially the Klein. A Wharncliffe and a sheepsfoot: perfect!
