Re: Older SOG folders
Hello Mike;
I happen to have a SOG Magnadot; Single tomcat blade,thumb push, lockback folder with Zytel (?) handle and Nylon sheath. The sheath is slightly worn but it still works good. The blade surface does have a few wear marks from use but not excessively so. No nicks. Blade is stamped 'SOG Specialty Knives' in a square on the mark side, and 'Seki Japan' on the pile side.
I have used it for a short while some years ago and decided it was more blade than I really needed as a E.D.C.. I recently pulled it out to give it another periodic once over with some silicone dry lube.
It is surprisingly light for the size that it is. Sometimes I would forget that I had it on! It would be a good knife for camping, hiking, hunting, etc..
I don't know if this is what you might be looking for but if it is it would be open for sell or trade.

Can you send me a picture of it? I would like to see it and am not familiar with that model.

Re: Older SOG folders
I can but it will be a while as I am not set up with the digital thing as of yet. What I can do is shoot it on film, develop it and put it on to a disk and transfer it to my computor and post it. I need to do this with some other knives I have anyway. So as soon as I do, I'll post it here so you can at least have a look-see.
