I've got faith in the knowledge of the membership here at AAPK. Got a question that I can't seem to find any information on. I have a Case XX Mini Copperlock that I'm trying to find out what material the scales are made from. I've looked on here and on the Case among other sites but nothing is listed. The Letters On the Original box are CH1579L. The knife blade (tang) itself is stamped with a 61579. Which I understand, The 6 = Jigged Bone (Bone Stag), Imitation Jigged Bone (Delrin), or laminated wood. Can anyone on here help me out? What I can't find out is what the CH Abbreviations are for. I've included a couple pictures for reference. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help on identifying handles, or scales
I believe the CH indicates it is Chestnut Bone. Also, pattern 549 is a large Copperlock (mini Copperlock = 749)

Case does an excellent job with their dyes.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
