Now that I'm being walked through the grove daily again the photo ops are becoming abundant once more. These are the two I had in my pockets when me and Billy hit the trail today.

Nice curves on that knife. The oak and ivy make a good frame.

Thanks Mel.

Well, me and Billy went to the wild side today. It's a large wooded area about a mile away with ATV trails through it and a couple of homeless camps. Silly Billy got a chance to go off leash for a while and he behaved outstandingly. I was surprised at how well he obeyed commands and stayed close to me. Since the homeless camps might be occupied by people of unknown character I took my 1911 and the Rat 3 with me but we didn't run into anyone pleasant or unpleasant. I shot a couple pics and like this one best.

::tu:: Your daily walks have produced some nice knife photos, But, I can't believe you're not carrying a canoe or two to "the grove".

I do but I've been picking knives from my collection that I haven't photographed in a while. I'll keep your request in mind for tomorrow.

Went over to the wild side again today with the Formidable Furry Fart Factory (AKA Billy) and shot this pic. The squirrels are getting really active this time of year so Billy is getting some much needed exercise. Like Trey before him he's a great squirrel chaser. Squirrel catcher? Not so much.

Okay, where're all the other photographers out there? Let's see some pics of sharp shiny cutting tools. ::nod::

Me and Billy The Canine Kid will be going out for our walk a little later and of course we will be taking a few knife pics along the way. When we get back and post 'em it'd be nice to see someone else's photos. ::fc::

Really good looking shots of some beautiful knives Charlie, excellent.

Tim those are great shots as well. I use to own one of those Boker Appalachian Trail Canoes. Weren’t there a few more with other covers? Or am I thinking about another set that Boker made? Those were some of my favorite canoes.

Mark, this is the only cover I’ve ever seen on one of these. Actually, since I bought this one a few years ago, I’ve never seen another one for sale.

More great pics of really nice knives, Charlie and Fingers!

And thanks, Charlie and Mark!

Thanks and it bodes well for the hobby to see the quality upgrade from a name that only a few years ago was disparaged.
