Trout & Bird - Does Anyone Know This Maker's Mark?

Post by tunefink »

Picked this up in a group of other folders and fixed blades. No making on the sheath. Well executed, nice paper Micarta scales with a touch of scrimshaw. I don't know the maker. Thank you,

Looks like the initials G.W. Checked a 2002 copy of KNIVES list of custom knifemakers amd may have found it. Makers name is George Werth 5223 Woodstock Road Poplar Grove IL 61065. His stamp is either his last name or HIS TWO INITIALS CONNECTED.
