Nice Schatt whittler, Mel. Pretty interesting jigging on that one....I like it ::tu::

Excellent WW entry, Tim....every parade needs Old Glory in the lineup.....great photo, too!

Origins, provenance or genealogy may be interesting but in the end irrelevant, regardless of how high or humble, and neither qualify nor disqualify a Wharnie from marching in the WW parade. Your "shallow-ender" is no exception, bigh, all Wharns welcome ::handshake::

That is one of my favorite China patterns. I have one of those branded U.S. Classic like yours, and two branded Steel Warrior. My oldest Steel Warrior gets some pocket time.

This one was a Christmas gift from the wife .Although it had what appears to be a factory defect strait out of the box from the factory on the pile side it still has sentimental value .when I contacted case I was told that defects on exotic covers even if strait out of the box from the factory are not covered by warranty.

That is a beautiful Case. I could not spot the defect in your photo. I have a couple of old MOP knives that are nice to look at from one side only because of damage, and I still like them.

Gorgeous knife! Just don't leave it in your mouth like a thermometer, as Californians apparently do. 🤭

Thanks, ~Q~ for the nice comment. Yeah, that #99 S&M is sweet. That is a Daniels Family special edition 1 of 40 they did back in the day. I picked that up from an AAPK member years ago...If I recall, he went by 'fishguy' or some name close to that. It's the only mammoth I have and will be handed down to my oldest daughter, eventually.
