The latest release from Daniels Family Knife Brands

Tuna Valley Cutlery Co., Excelsior Knife Co., & Napanoch Knife Co. are three popular brands currently controlled by The Daniels family. These are old names that went dormant for years, but have since been brought back to life with modern offerings. This forum is here to discuss & show off knives & related items with brand names under the Daniels Family umbrella.

This first batch was only a club knife release to members of the FB group who pre-ordered them.

But there are followup general releases coming soon. I'm hoping to pick up some knives in different handles for photos this week and I'll be sure to post them here.

Couple new ones to show here. First, another variation of the Rooster comb, this one in Kudu horn handles. Only 11 were made. Should be shipping to dealers soon.

I just got these photos finished last night.

Next is the new take on the coffin jack pattern, called the "Lexingtonian" inspired from the culture of Lexington, KY. Part of the Titusville Cutlery brand, this single blade barehead version is 3 3/4 inches closed, and comes in 4 different wood handle choices. Only 15 of each were made. Cocobolo, Ebony, Olivewood, or Maple Burl. These should be shipping to dealers beginning of next week.

A few new releases. Lexingtonian coffin jack in amber stag. Only 30 made. And then the Paua abalone handled rooster combs. 10 made with cap/bolsters, and then 10 made in bolsterless shadow style. I really like the looks of that abalone.

The Slipjoint Exchange FB group had a few extra club knives made to sell to their members. In the Grave Digger coffin jack pattern, with abalone or mammoth ivory handles.

This is a neat one. DFKB patriarch Ken Daniels wanted to do a special small batch of knives that he could sell to some knife buddies. He had the Rooster Comb pattern done, but with the Tuna Valley tang stamp. Still used the 1095 carbon steel. But he used the old classic green Tuna label that was from 2012-2018, and older style COA. Only 5 of each made, in burnt stag and mammoth ivory. These were done back in February.

I find this Teal Lightning Wood farmers jack to be a very pretty knife. The picture does not do justice to the blue.

Great looking knives, chickenman & justonemore! ::tu::

I picked up this Titusville Abalone Lexingtonian Coffin Jack from Ryan at the Lexington show this weekend. Couldn't have gotten it in a more appropriate place given the name.
This is the only picture I got of it, so included below is an Abalone Case Bose Collaboration Norfolk Whittler I scored as well, for a little added eye candy.

Thanks Carl! ::handshake:: I was thrilled to get these and the Tuna Valleys along with several others not nearly as nice. I had been jonesing for a Norfolk pattern recently, so I was elated to find this one and get a good trade on it.

I'm not usually a big fan of Damascus, but man oh man the Damascus on those Lexingtonian CJs is quite stunning. Yet another TV model I wish I could get but never will. Outstanding photos, too, Carl, as usual....the Damascus really pops ::tu::

I agree that would look pretty nice. I think these are the only ones coming in Damascus, at least for now.
