You made the right call in my book, Tom.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks Rick & John - never easy being the voice of 1 representing 150 buyers but we wanted ACSB and that’s what we’ll deliver……what’s a few more weeks in the big picture. I forgot to mention that this is one of the many reasons we work with GEC. They were honorable and professional throughout the situation which might not have been the case with another manufacturer.

Great choice, I have some of the S&M worm groove and it’s not my favorite choice. I have several Queen ACSB and they are beautiful.
Honestly this is the only way I have to get a GEC other than marked up second hand so I’m just happy for the chance to get one.

ACSB is what we wanted and it looks like that's what we're going to get so thank you for sticking to your guns!

Re: 2025 AAPK Club Knife Information
Good choice on the handle. In my opinion, the ACSB is a much nicer handle than the wormgroove. Thanks again Tom for all your efforts.

Re: 2025 AAPK Club Knife Information
I just spoke to Joan Mae at GEC and they are still waiting on our cover materials to arrive from their supplier. I’m trying to it nail down to a date but that’s where we are as of 2 minutes ago.

Re: 2025 AAPK Club Knife Information
It's been about 3-weeks since I last posted an update on this year's club knife. In that time GEC has received our amber carved stag bone handle material, conducted their annual fall 1-week shutdown and started the production of our knives. We are making progress:
Yesterday I spoke to Joan Mae Howard at GEC and the timeline they are operating under is to ship all of the knives to me by Friday October 31st. I would then use the weekend to package up the 150 or so individual boxes and be at the Post Office when they open on Monday November 3rd. That is the current plan. Based on the progress I'm seeing in the pictures and the knowledge that our knives will be out of assembly and into finishing by early next week, I believe the plan is attainable.
I have one more piece of information to share but the details will have to wait until tomorrow. As is generally the case, the production of our knives has yielded an overrun and Bryan and I have agreed to purchase all of them. Notices have gone out to those on the waiting list with a response deadline of midnight tonight. If you think you were on the waiting list for a 2025 club knife and haven't heard from me in the last 24-hours either by email or PM, please contact me immediately to resolve.
Once the waiting list has been served today, I will know the exact number of knives to add to the AAPK Club Knife Orders Store https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... 625-closed in the coming days. Please stay tuned because when the overrun knives are sold out, there will be no more until the secondary market.
