I FOUND AND OBTAINED ANOTHER ONE.....
This morning, my trip to the post office produced this lobster or gentlemans', pattern or style of pocket knife. It now becomes my SECOND example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the SECOND example to be added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY, one blade, one tool (a file with a blade tip), two tang stamps, 2 3/16" closed (not including the bail), lobster or gentlemans', pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "ORANGE (over) CUT. CO. (over) WALDEN, N.Y." The tool front tang stamp also says, "ORANGE (over) CUT. CO. (over) WALDEN, N.Y." The main handle side has an applied "FLT" (Odd Fellows) symbol, logo or emblem. "FLT" means Friendship, Love and Truth. At one time, there MAY HAVE been another applied symbol, logo or emblem (I.O.O.F.?). It looks like it was by the bail, on the main handle side. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The tool also has a WEAK half stop. The tool does have an OK opening snap. The tool does have an OK closing snap. My other ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife was posted, under this topic or thread, back on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did require some minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

The main blade front tang stamp says, "ORANGE (over) CUT. CO. (over) WALDEN, N.Y." The tool back tang stamp also says, "ORANGE (over) CUT. CO. (over) WALDEN, N.Y." The main handle side has a MASONIC symbol, logo, or emblem, with "Jr. O. U. A. M." (Junior Order of United American Mechanics). This is my third, ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife. My other two ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives were both previously posted, under this topic or thread. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The tool does NOT have a half stop. The tool does NOT have an opening snap. The tool does have an OK closing snap. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

and moved to New Haven, Connecticut, a few cutlers stayed in Walden and operated

I had and have little interest in switchblades, but I couldn't keep him on the topic of farmers jacks. I do like swing guards and larger knives though.

This is my fifth, ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife. My other four, ORANGE CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives, have ALL been previously posted under this topic or thread. The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The tool does have a SOFT half stop. The tool does have an OK opening snap. The tool does have a GOOD closing snap. Both handle sides have cracks in the scales. These cracks do NOT bother me. I have quarantined this pocket knife as a precaution against possible outgassing. Overall, this pocket knife is in FAIR condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off.

THIS POST IS NOT AN ATTACK AGAINST THE SELLER OF THIS POCKET KNIFE!!!

This Orange Cutlery Company pocket knife is listed on eBay as of this posting.
This Orange Cutlery Company pocket knife just does NOT look right to me.
I have NEVER heard of, read about, or have seen, an Orange Cutlery Company
pocket knife with Mother Of Pearl handles or scales. The blade and the tool are
way over buffed or polished. I am posting this pocket knife for future reference
ONLY!!! Is this Orange Cutlery Company pocket knife legit? Who knows for sure.
It may have been rehandled at some point in its history. The same with the over
buffed or polished blade and tool. With a ridiculous $245.00 opening bid, I am
NOT willing to chance it. The item(s) are NOT mine. The picture(s) are NOT mine.
