Case XX Corelon Limited Edition

Post by keithwest1968 »

I started collecting Case XX knives a few years ago and wanted to start with something small and inexpensive. I discovered the Case Corelon l
Limited Edition Peanut Slant (1 of 2500) and Straight (1 of 500) series. I did a lot of research compiling a list of knives in each series. I started buying them in new condition with box and think have collected them all. When I compare the Straight Series to the Slant Series, I found the the Slant Series also included Rainbow and Ivory Quartz handles. I assumed these would have also been in the Straight Series as well, but in my research, I have never seen a Case XX Peanut Corelon (1 of 500) with the Rainbow or Ivory Quartz handles. If these were never part of the Straight Series, I want to remove them from by list and stop searching for them. Does anyone know if these 2 knives were ever produced?

Someone here may know, but if not try contacting Frost Cutlery, and ask them. Corelon trademark belongs to Frost and they are the sole producer of Corelon handles. They may have records.
