S&M Display value.

Post by PA Knives »

My nephew got this from his dad's estate and wanted to know a value for legal papers. I'm not up on new knives. Can some one guide me? The original cost was$1,140

looking at mine and adding em up Id say that is about what their value is today. A lot of my Schatts were bought for right around their original MSRP. some more/some less. david Kraus and fred and a couple other Queen guys will be at the Pleasantville show to guide ya.

Looking at the receipt, isn’t that price for 2 of the sets?

Wade you are correct, that receipt says it’s for 2. I thought 1140 seemed awfully high for that set. They originally went for half that. Right now the value of that set is really in what each knife would sell for individually. Meen68er on Ebay has sold several of these with the knives sold individually. I follow his listings and all those knives go for between 150 and 210, depending on the knife. I think an average of 175 for each piece wouldn’t be far off.
