Possibly a Hammer Brand, an Imperial, or ?.....

Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my first example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to get this particular pocket knife. But, it did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, 3 7/8" closed, a long blade pull, pocket knife. There is absolutely NO country of origin, or ANY other stamp(s) or marking(s) remaining, anywhere on this pocket knife. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a HAMMER BRAND, one blade, one tang stamp, 2" closed (not including the bail), a long blade pull, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "HAMMER (over) BRAND (with the flexed arm & hammer) and a vertical USA on the side. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in GOOD+ condition. This pocket knife did NOT require cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

It is an ITALY, one blade, one tang stamp, 4 7/8" closed, 8 3/4" open, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "MADE (over) ITALY" The main blade opens and locks in place, and releases and closes with no problem. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did need a little bit of cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Here are a couple. The big one is an old unmarked French model. The candy stripe is MUTUAL CUTLERY CHICAGO. The Colonials;one has a large brass button and the other a small nickel silver one. The Winchester is a 1987 model.
