Thanks for posting that! Enjoyed it. They are certainly not as special as the hand forged original Northfields Or the old bone and ebony knives of past. But I think they have their place and I really like using them as an EDC!!

TY. Victorinox uses Martensitic stainless steel because it can be hardened, which is a must to create strong blades and tools. Victorinox claims that what’s not used directly in their production is never wasted and that they collect the remaining steel and convert the grinding powder into pellets and send it back to their suppliers where it is turned back into steel.
