There’s a book called “The Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool Inspection Report” by Brenton Covington that was published for those wanting to learn more about Leatherman PST component feature variations. Tim Leatherman wrote the forward and added a number of notations throughout. The Leatherman PST Inspection Report was created to help individuals discern and document 83 key variations to component features on the legendary PST. After examining your PST for each component feature variation detailed in this guide, you will have a completed 83-point inspection report on your individual tool. Only 100 individually numbered hard cover copies were produced for sale.

Leatherman has a great warrenty on their tools. My S-I-L bought a completely used up original Super tool at a pawn shop. This was so much used it wouldn't even lock open. I called Leatherman and talked to them to see if I could get it at least functional. They told me to send it in and see if it was restoreable. About a month went by and I recieved it in the mail, it was a rebuilt Supertool made of all new parts and I was not charged for it. I gave this to my other S-I-L as a gift. He passed away a year or so later and now my Grandson, his oldest Son, has it now. ftd

Super Tool, number under blade 9690 very high quality blades and tools. All I ever use is the needle nose.

How about some Leatherman pocket knives? I bought these about 15 years ago at a store that was closing. The e303 l carried for several years as an edc. The other 2 were updated ver7ions.
