Thanks!
I think it sold out in about 2 minutes or less.

You fellers are showing some great old knives!

Thanks Philip, I suppose the bail was of a sturdier design as the little philips head screwdriver was welded to the bails in the first model.treefarmer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 1:54 amYou fellers are showing some great old knives!doglegg wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 11:30 pm Received this Ulster 3rd model WW2 10th Mountain Division utility knife from our own knifegnome, Scott Lupinski. Scott is a great guy to deal with. Now to keep an eye out for the 1st model with the philips head screwdriver welded to the bail.20250627_181601.jpg20250627_181549.jpg20250627_181524.jpg20250627_181459.jpg20250627_181431.jpg
Floyd, this is a beauty!
I'm impressed with the shackle/bail shape. So many of the old knives similar to this, camping/scout patterns, are missing the shackles. Looks like this one was designed to stay attached.

Thanks GSP. If you're visit by a ghost tonight it might be Roland.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 9:12 pm...That is an AWESOME pickup D.L.

A very nice score
... Great bones.

...My only disagreement would be with your reference material....
stating that the Canadians "were very effective fighters" ....
I not sure cutting down a bunch of trees and drinking a bunch Labatt Blue Light beer and harvesting some maple syrup counts as "very effective fighting" ....

That is a great pattern, glad it filled a spot in your collection.

Looks good to me. I can imagine that for an Army guy they would be really cool.
It it kind of funny, but when I read KL's post I thought that I would like the see something made out of the Navy barracks I lived in at Philadelphia, just so I would know they were gone.. They must have been a hundred years old in 1975.
Thanks to the complements and sorry for late reply had forgotten had posted. Have purchased two more Bokers that were on sale

Thanks you so much Ken, I thought it had to be teak wood from the Missouri but didn’t have the confirmation until now. Really glad I bought this one.KLJ77 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 2:28 pm That is a beautiful VJ Commemorative knife, Mark. The wood on the knife is Teak Wood from the deck of the Missouri. Below is a link to Knife Center who provides a very nice description of your commemorative knife.
