Just noticed the similarity of the round shield on your Remington and the PAL shield that buckkiller58 posted yesterday also, remembering the history of Remington and Pal.

What's your thoughts on these Chinese Robesons?

IIRC I refrained from ever posting that I was not wildly entheusiastic about SMKW introducing Chinese Queen knives. I'll continue my self restraint. However, I do enjoy some SMKW Chinese Marbles thinking of them as Rough Ryders with a different brand on them. Unlike the Chinese Queens, Chinese Robersons are priced the same as Rough Ryders so I might view them the same as SMKW Marbles in time.

What are the Gamecock's tiny coping saw or hack saw and its other tool used for?

More of a novelty these days, since cockfighting has become replaced by other gaming events, or possibly illegal.

There is a pre-WWII family story about rooster spurs. Behind my grandparent's house there was and still is a rough lawn that extends to a drop off into a ravine and creek. Two women were crewing the cud behind the house when a bear walked up unto the lawn. A rooster tried to sink its spurs into the bears nose. The bear opened his jaws wide then snapped down on the cock and walked back into the woods with lunch in its mouth. Chickens might be the stupidest animals I've delt with.

Today’s few market grabs. German eye Jim Bowie large stockman. And a Klaas congress. Anyone know anything about them ? Has a crown around the klaas and says A&k soligen Germany on rear tang stamps. All blades marked.

Picked up a Jonathan Crookes knife at an antique shop today, made in Sheffield England , stag handle and very nice condition.
