I deeply regret learning of Banjo's passing. He was a beautiful boy.

MG my wife and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. He definitely was in the right home.
Very good looking cat we had a Siamese named Boo-boo. He looked a lot like Banjo. He lived a good long 20 years. We had a long hair Siamese that had kidney failure, he only made 8. They definitely are part of the family.

This is a carryover post from new pickups.
Let me start this one off by saying Lori and don’t give gifts usually.
The better half and I are always competing with the daughter and her skill at gift giving.
Yesterday I go into to make a cup of coffee after my daughter’s gift earlier in the day.
Lori has cleaned up like always. I’m like did you already put my cup in the dishwasher probably shaking my head. She kind of smiled said yes get a new one. She got me a Father’s Day gift actually from the dogs. What you can’t see on the other side of the cup is says best dog dad. She asked last week what color my eyes were, we have only been together for 29 years. She also liked how she matched the lack of grey hair. I was gassed two really cool gifts. I think she even said you did not get me anything for Mothers Day. I said I probably took you to dinner.
Anyway I had a good day yesterday. Hopefully all of you did as well.Hard to say who gave me the better gift yesterday. My son took me to breakfast and we checked out a small flea market and antique shop.
Enjoy my brides Father’s Day gift.

One of our little carnivores had her 7th birthday recently. Annabelle spent part of the day laying in the tunnel box in ambush of her companion, and stalking her favorite prey animal, the rotisserie chicken.

Well now pet ain't in the equation, but he hangs around and is fed daily, breakfast and supper. He brightens up our day generally. Looked out the kitchen window yestiddy afternoon and wondered what in the heck was laying there then he raised his head and tail. Ole Wampus in all his magnificent glory. ::handshake::

Please everyone keep the pet pictures coming. I like them all. I have said it more than once. The four legged kids are far less frustrating than the two legged kids, enough said.
That being said I know that some of you feel this is not proper pet etiquette. Red on the couch between us lamb chop that Piper set there. Piper begging to be pet and when she has had enough laying on my feet.
Enjoy I know we do.

Big Dog likes pears. They're not ripe yet (at least not for human consumption) but the dogs don't care. They go to the tree, grab a pear in their mouth, and start backing up. About 5 minutes later there’s nothing left but the stem. There aren't many pears left on the trees below about 4 feet above the ground.

Nice pictures LSK, I agree with you on the frustrations of the 2 legged verses 4. What a sweet dog.

Ken, that surprises me about the pears. Out of 4 dogs that we have only one will even take a taste of a pear. Wish we had a decent pear tree, at least we have peaches and apples. Our peaches are going ripen soon here in Central Indiana, can’t wait.

Zeus has become a lot of work lately, so I have decided to replace him with a simpler version of him as a pet. I have put a add in Craig's List offering up Zeus free of charge.... no takers yet ::disgust:: . I have already started the transition to using my "new pet" for knife pictures.... :| Zeus was not too happy about that..... ::uc::

I haven’t posted a picture of my boy Moki in a while. Here also is a picture of 3 members of my pack together in my north yard. I love this spot in the yard, it’s under a very large and old oak tree that may have to come down soon, it has hollowed out from the inside and has fungus growing up the sides. I will miss this tree when it’s gone. It’s probably 150 to 200 years old and is about 7 feet in diameter at the base, it’s huge. My dogs love it for the shade and all the chipmunk tunnels that are in it and around it.

Cute little guys, Tom ::nod::

I'm curious about the name "Nalu" you gave one of them. It's a Hawaiian word that means "wave" (as in an ocean wave 🌊 not a wave of the hand 🖐️ ). Did you know than when you chose the name or is there another reason?

Cute pups Tom. Not sure I would want another pup after Moki. I don’t have the energy for him now and he is only 2 years old. When he was that size, I really didn’t have the energy. Puppies take a lot of work and patience, and they are worth it.

Yes, we knew that when we picked that name. We found it fitting because he has kind of "wavey" hair.
I mean, the word was not part of our normal vocabulary. My wife Silvia was looking for possible names in the Hawaiian language and ran across it & it fit to his "wavey" hair. ::tu::
