BUCK STOCKMAN 301 WITH SHEATH

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Chuck Buck Signature 300s.

Your guess is as good as mine for time of stockup. I have mine on order from BUCK Collectors Club salesman, so should get mine with just one change of hands. Will announce here with pics.

I don't think that will be the last new scale material try by them before next summer.......IE the code word is 'Paperstone' a environmentally friendly cellulose laminate, that is somewhat fire resistant. It's a GREEN material.

I am always a skeptic till I have one handled. Works the same for.........guns.
You thought I was going to say Women.....

This 301 Buck I received from my uncle. It has a V after the 301. Does this make it a 1989 model?

1989 should be right on that date.

Thanks for the date chart, it confirms what I thought. Yes, it is NIB. I received about 15 Buck knives several years ago from my aunt. They were my uncles knives, who died about 15 years ago. This appears to be the newest one, because of the V symbol. The other knives do not have anything after the number.

Thanks

Jack,

Are you already or have you got info or thought about joining the Buck Collectors Club. The newletters and website make it worthwhile for the history and up-to-date info. I have finished a couple of histories of the knifes you have and some others are working on knife histories also.
Might check it out as a information resource.

http://www.buckcollectorsclub.org

Looks like you need a 303, 3ll, 312,314,310 and 305 Clipper.....There out there.....

If anyone has a particular photo they want to see, let me know.

Thanks 300Bucks for the link to the Buck's Collector Club . I have printed off the application to complete. Even though I have had these knives for several years, along with some Case knives from my uncle, I just got into collecting and studying them this year. Thanks for the help.
