New to AAPK

Post by Danimal »

I just purchased a Benchmade Prototype 535BK-08 Bugout
It looks like a good knife.
Does anyone elsewhere out there have the same knife and would you be willing to share your pros and cons with me?
This my 1st Benchmade purchase, I’ve been carrying a Gerber in my pocket for years.

Welcome, I have a bugout, it’s a great light weight and stout edc knife. That said I rarely carry it anymore, it just isn’t my style, I personally like traditional knives better.

::welcome:: to AAPK I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun here.
Sorry I can't tell you anything about that knife, most of my collection is traditional pattern knives.

Danimal,

Welcome to the club and the knife addicts group! I have the Bugout with CF handles. Super light weight great knife. I have come to prefer the Taggedout due to increased handle contour that provides a better grip. However as you will soon find out, one knife of any brand is never enough!

My first love was tactical knives but this place has converted me to traditionals so I try to carry a tactical so that I don't have to use the traditional that I carry in the other pocket. One for go and one for show.

Don't forget to post a pic of your BM Bugout.
To those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected ones will never know.
