Found these two Sabre's yesterday in Snow Hill, MD. The hawk is Japan, perfect, never resharpened and the 2-3/4" pen is German, also perfect and never resharpened. Just have to clean them up a bit. J.O'.

Just picked this one up .... A Boker 440 Stainless hunting knife... I call it my "CxIII Pick of The Day" in honor of CxIII inspired knife finds.... also referred to as "SICK" ... AKA: Stainless Inspired CxIII Knife)

Yeah that thing is pretty sick. I've been looking for knives from Central and South America lately, I didn't know that Boker had an Argentinian outfit. That's cool.

Thanks KTWKG and JO' ... The Argentinian made knives have had some nice stag in the ones I have bought or seen and handled. They make a Gaucho knife as I recall that is pretty cool and I think I have an AG Russel F.B. in stag from years ago from their Argentinian maker.

Nice day at the flea market, came away with a decent haul. 1940-64 barhead jack - 1977 copperhead -1972 Large toothpick and a 72 Barlow razor.

Went antiquing this afternoon and found a Russell Green River Works Navy knife with "Navy" stamped out on the blade.____Dave

Anyone ever seen an error on a German eye ? Got this 1 a while back It’s a half congress cracked ice 3 eye but the main blade has Germany stamped on back of the tang upside down. Any input would be appreciated.

Looks off center and janky too. Looks like a bona-fide factory error. Cool knife. Are the bolsters pinched or is that a reflection?

Yes it has the pinched / rolled bolsters. The upside down Germany is quite janky. Almost looks to be double stamped wrong lol

I bought a pretty sizeable handful of beater/workhorse knives at my local antique store today. Despite it being about $30-ish total (most were under $5 each) looking at the price tags, I only paid $10 for all of them.

Nothing particularly nice (though there are a couple $20-ish ones I had my eye on, as well as a nice Consol belt buckle I'm going back for next week), but they're usable workhorses for the most part.

Frost 3" hawkbill.

Not something I'd normally buy, but quality (at least compared to all the other Frost products I have, save for one Steel Warrior Trapper that's as good as Rough Ryders) is great, and the lockup is actually better than the Klein. Plus, the previous owner did a decent job sharpening it, so it's gonna see a ton of use as my EDC around the farm.

Shield is marked "Frost Cutlery, 1972-2001 Chattanooga, TN". Guessing it's from around '01 then?

Victorinox Classic SD. I already have a ton of these around the house. $1 price was on it.

Pretty much new--toothpick and tweezers still in there, and blade still has the factory edge.

Still not sure which Pulse Electronics is being advertised--the first is a distributor of components out of CA (and got bought out by the Chinese...), and the second is an engineering firm for industrial applications.

Case 6375 in absolutely junk condition. Bought A: to have some beater to through in the UTV, secondly, I plan to use it to practice disassembly and reassembly.

Can hardly read the tang stamp (and you have to yank the stump out with pliers), but it's roughly an '80-81.

Imperial BSA Chow Kit Fork. Found in the mess kit/camping stuff. Now I really need to complete the set with the pouch, knife, and spoon.

Patent Applied For, thus possibly an early one?

Imperial Serpentine Jack with the Turkish Clip. Personally, one of my favorite shell handle patterns.

Still needs some cleanup.

Camillus Demo Knife, USMC on scale. 1996 date (so as old as me!)

Some dunce took the blade to a bench grinder at one point, but at $5, I happily added it to start the pile I came out with. Definitely not one I'm carrying, but adding it to the case alongside my 1961 Imperial and early Kingston US Marine Corps-marked Demo knives.

I think the USMC, USN, USAF, etc. knives were all regular releases in the '80s and '90s.
