I just got the new 38 with the big wharnie and pen blade. Single stout spring - so nice and slim, disappears in the pocket. Fit and finish is just amazing - and I've always been a sucker for their acrylics - wish they offered more. This will be my edc for some time I suspect ...

Several GECs posted at low prices on Ebay today. I noticed one said stock photo, wouldn't allow contact with seller and no returns. A couple look like they have fake stag. Are there counterfeit GECs out there?

I recommend any of the Barlow’s especially the TC Barlows. Also the Vipers are pretty hot too. My personal favorite of the GEC patterns, besides the Barlow’s, are any whittler. GEC does have a great Eureka Jack pattern too. Sooooo many to choose from.

Surprising how tastes vary. Whittlers just dont do it for me. I do love me some Barlows. That 47 Viper is calling for sure. ::hmm::

The green was a club knife SFO run, really enjoy it! The burlap is no slouch either IMO. I have one more on the way, I could not help myself and ended up grabbing the amber bone jack as well.

Thanks Iman. Yes the smaller ones dissappear in your pocket until needed. I decided to carry only one GEC in the EDC rotation. A little 22 for that very reason. I used it one day to slice some meat in an Asian lunch I was eating. That carbon blade instantly took a patina. Actually looks kinda good that way.
