Re: 2026 Gator Show canceled
Hello everybody who received a check back in the mail. This is Craig/b4awl/scagel on AAPK. I've been doing the Gator show since it was in a hotel in Plant City next to a cemetary. I always set up next to John Conte, Bob Burcher, Red and Bill Jackson.
YES, there is going to be a show if Alan Weinstein and John Conte have their way. Things are being worked on right now so jusy hold your check until you get the go ahead to send it to whomever is going to be in charge of table rentals.
Everything possible is being done to continue the show, seamless and just like it has always been, just with different people running it and they are all lone time table holders.
You can reach me by phone 305-606-0964 or email b4awl@aol.com.
I look forward to seeing everybody in 2026 and with Red as the auctioneer!
Stay sharp,
Craig

additional information on this topic can be found here: viewtopic.php?p=1194529#p1194529ngocnhungplaza wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 5:45 pm That’s really surprising. I hadn’t heard anything about a cancellation that far out. You’d think they’d at least offer a brief explanation with the refund. I wonder if it’s a venue issue or something behind the scenes. Hopefully we’ll get more info soon — the Gator Show’s always been a highlight on the calendar.

Hi, Craig here. Long time table holder at the funding center and the Holiday Inn inPlant City.
Alan Weinstein, John Conte and myself are putting the show back on the calendar. Same venue, same auction, same Francine at the door. Not difficult; just takes time and money. So please hold onto the check you received and we'll let you all know when ard where to send it. Remember, same show dates!
Stay sharp!
