Hmmmmm..... "Beer Cave" ....ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 2:15 amMight as well name this the Wisconsin thread. Potosi makes one called the cave ale. Best when bought from a beer cave.
Visited family in Indiana once, went to a gas station to get some beer. I was surprised when not only did they not have a dedicated walk in beer cooler aka "beer cave", but they didn't had any beer at all.![]()

Hadn't had any in quite a long time so picked up a 12 of Yuengling Traditional Lager at the grocery store. Glad I did. MMMMM Good. Took a picture with my phone but couldn't remember how to get it over to the forum.
Yuengling Traditional Lager is an American amber lager known for its rich amber color, medium body, and distinct flavor. It's a well-balanced beer with subtle sweetness from roasted caramel malt and a combination of Cluster and Cascade hops. This beer is a classic American lager, often called a "pre-Prohibition" lager.

Jerry , take no offense from this little tale. When we were teenagers in the 60's summers here in Ocean City Md., we used to drink a local Baltimore beer called National Bohemian, affectionately known as "Natty Boh". Before Yeungling went with their "Oldest Brewery in America" ad campaign they were a bargain beer , just a notch below Boh. Boh was $2.59 a case and Yeungling was $2.39 a case. If we couldn't scrape up the extra 20 cents we drank the Yeungling and griped about it. Natty Boh is still around but Yeungling has the market now.

I remember "Natty Boh" from when I was stationed at Marine Corps Air Base Cherry Point, North Carolina. It was tailored more to a military pay check.Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 10:17 pm Jerry , take no offense from this little tale. Re: It's Beer Thirty
I had a couple PBR's while I was on the boardwalk in down in Myrtle Beach a couple or three of weeks ago. I've been in meaning to pick up a 12 pack every since I got home just ain't around got to it. Did get a case of Busch, the boss likes to boil her corn on the cob in it.
I enjoyed one awhile ago after, spraying 4 gallons of roundup mix and a couple of hours on the zt.
Quite refreshing.

Jack Knife Ben Pen, half-stops on both blades. Our electricity went out last night around 5:30, but the beer is cold. I like the fact this has less lime than Bud Light Lime and others. In cans so it's pool friendly.

Ain't much on flavored brews but I could stomach one of these now and again. Kinda funny to me as I like some of the flavored whisky. Wild turkey honey being a favorite.
