Just saw this thread that I could contribute to. This has been seen before. Thanks to gunsil, it now lives here. A model called Robin Hood. It is difficult to photograph but the blade has a subtle grind along the top edge. Marked KABAR only I think, could not see the usual Union Cutlery Co marks on the reverse ricasso.

One of the recent additions to the pile, a Minute Man model, numbered 281. A really great grind on these IMO.

Never even heard of one. Didn’t know they exist. Thanks for sharing. Nice Knife

Pretty nice looking Minuteman Steve!! Where'd you dig that one out of? Dang that Robin Hood looks good!! Both hard to find knives for sure! I just got a Minuteman without the bear shield, they sure have some of the nicest grinds of any hunting knife.

Thank you for the kind comments edge and EBM. Gene, you ought to know but it is a beautiful knife. I bought that at the last Lewisburg, PA show we attended.

Some beautiful Kabars being posted, its great to see them.

The knife below has jigged wood handles and is the model 662-5 named Faithful. This one came off ebay and very please to find one with the blade as full as it is. I thought the seller made a mistake when he called this simulated bone. I hadn't heard a wood handle called simulated bone before but he wasn't wrong.

There was a pukko style KABAR marked knife on ebay earlier this year, maybe the summer. I was watching it but something came up that distracted me and it got away. Squirrel!

Did anyone here catch that one?

Wasn't me, I don't remember why but for some reason I didn't like it all that much and I have a few of them. Interesting knives, they do not appear in any KA-BAR literature I have. Came with either leather or cell handles and a drop-in sheath. I also have one only etched Viking which has a flat ground blade while the KA-BAR marked ones have saber ground blades. Another hard to find model.

I have a Union Cutlery Co. fixed blade that has a wood handle jigged to look like bone(see my post on page 1 of this thread picture#7)and a few small folding knives from Germany done the same way.

This is a Pathfinder with stag handles. Shame that the blade was stored in its sheath. Kabar used some really good stag back in the day.

Bringing this old thread to the top in an effort to keep the old KA BAR models together.

The attached Expert model is like the gorgeous lady but shows bad teeth when she smiles. This one is chipped near the ricasso and has suffered other abuse on the blade but the stag was too good to ignore and it was on my want list. 265-5 is stamped on the guard. Thanks for looking guys.
