Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Great pic, Floydlegg! The Frisco line is one of my favorite of those that have gone by the wayside. There is an interesting story of how their logo came into being, look it up! They had the Texas Special, Missouri Pacific had the Texas Eagle, Texas & Pacific had the Sunshine Special, but the Frisco had the best looks imo. Here is a pic of the Sunshine Special with the T&P classic depot in Fort Worth in the background. You know that building, right?

Awesome old picture, Ike!

I took this video yesterday @ Parkville, MO.

I also have a new YouTube profile picture on a Missouri Pacific Lines caboose, same location.

Awesome video, John, you don't see those names back East, huh? I noticed a few cars with KCS logos.

Nice video John,
Love the trains with all the hopper cars not sure what it is but it floats my train brain.
Also love when you panned left not sure but looked like old wrought iron fence, it added to the good old days aura to the whole thing.

For sure, Ike. I think the last car was an old Kansas City Southern. I see their rolling stock in Cumberland from time to time, and old Kansas City Southern de Mexico auto racks. Always some BNSF Pumpkin Power running around KC. 💯

Thanks Steve. That's near the English Landing Park, NorthWest of KC proper.

More Parkville, MO, train action from this morning, and KC's Union Station with some model train layouts and displays. I have done quite a bit of railfanning here, and my wife has been very patient. 💯

Drifted out to the train museum to see what motive power they were running.
The first picture is of my favorite thing to ride in.
Any Caboose.
Always a different experience riding in the cupola ccaboose bay window caboose.

For power a 3 truck Shay I knew They had the unit never saw it operating. Very nice surprise for a 15 minute ride.

Please let me know if any of you make to Illinois Rail Museum,
I will definitely make time.

Stopped by Coffeyville Kansas on my way to Tennessee the other day got the SKOL moving around and some cars And a UP Engine looks like the taggers have been busy vandals are out of control Not that long ago, the unwritten rule was never tag a locomotive. But in today’s world, we have this general attitude of rebellion and lawlessness so anything goes

Nice pictures as always.

I call my kids hoodlums,
Not in that sense of the term. I would have to turn them in for a stunt like that.
Truly so sad what has happened to people.
