Sweet old Ulster with the US shield-10th special service force knife. And, awesome electrician’s knife, is that an Empire?ScoutKnives wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 6:24 pm Recent finds from a flea market in mid state Florida .

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Update - I took delivery of this Lionsteel but am sending it back. The action was not smooth and there wasn't enough texture on the handle for me. I felt like it needed skateboard tape or something. The disappearing pocket clip is an answer to a question not asked. For me anyway. Just not my cup of tea I suppose.RedRaiderRick wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 2:13 am Haven't seen any posts or discussions regarding Lionsteel knives, made in Italy. What is everyone's opinion/experience? I decided to take a chance on this one. 0.18 inch thick M390 steel, one piece aluminum handle, frame lock, hidden pocket clip, cool lock on frame lock.... I post a review when it arrives.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Picked up at local flea market today. Fife cutlery Germany. 4 blade stag congress . Back tang appears to say 575 soligen from what I can see of it ? From what I could find online it’s an old hen & rooster ? No hen and rooster markings though. Anyone know anything about them as far as date made or anything?

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I recko'n I done got lucky at a weekend "antique flea-market" held once a month, which is a fancy way of saying an "expensive and over-priced flea market",
in fact I stopped going to it for a few years, because it turned into a dry hole...
but now it looks like them knives is back and the fishing been good....
and sometimes you find some good deals

I'm supposed to be good at haggling, but I made the big mistake of showing the seller how much I liked it and had to pay more than I wanted. But I don't regret it
Your catch from the flea market is also very good. Cool choppers.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
You're absolutely right. Everyone has their own little tricks for bargaining and acting. But the other side can be no less experienced.

Still, I got it for half of the original asking price, so I'm counting it as a success. But it could have been for 1/3.

I don't mind the money, but I love bargaining.
We should make a topic "the art of bargaining", and everyone should share their ways.
