Picked this up at a garage sale today. Guy claimed his dad had it over twenty years. Blade was pretty rusted and one snap was broken. Snaps are marked, GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA 1907. Handle was wrapped with black tape and when removed revealed a handle of wood and either bone or fossil ivory with 3 sets of 2 brass and 1 red spacers. Guard and pommel are damascus as is the blade. Pattern is random but looks a bit like ladder pattern. No markings on blade or sheath.
Showed it to a friend; he thinks it is either Indian or Pakistani. I think it is USA made. Any thoughts? BTW the price was a whopping ten bucks. Also got a limited edition 3 knife Schrade set for the same price(pictured elsewhere).

Nice find, Ray! If it holds an edge, then you're set.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
