My weekend find...

Went to the Pasadena gun show this weekend. Left with this knife.

Would I be nuts to stick it in my pocket and use it? Is this bone or delrin?

It is a bone. Super little knife and although I probably couldn't make myself use it; she would make a great EDC.

Regarding the Winchester numbering system - the first number indicates the number blades - the second number is the handle material (8 or 9 = jigged bone). The remaining numbers are the pattern number.

That is a non user for me; too nice I'd have to put that one back. I think but not sure; someone with more knowledge than me would know; but I think they used some "old Utica bone" on these.

darnit yall. now i cant use it. i kinda figured as much though since they are not made any more. guess i'll keep looking for a 2 blade jack for my EDC.

he had an older Queen City ebony jack for $60. thought that was a little high. oh well, now i have to keep knife hunting!

Man I should have gone to that show! Of course I can barely afford to pay attention....

NICE knife! I LOVE Spear Point blades! I'd carry it. Either in the bottom of my right front jeans pocket with NOTHING else or in a holster.

I always have another knife for "hard" use.

I say use it and enjoy. It will out live you probably. These guys are just hoping it will come around to them and they want it mint. Sharpen it so you can cut yer whiskers and show people how cool you are and what good taste you have..

I carried my S&M Harness jack yesterday and cut some great things that needed to be cut. It made the day better!

Shoot I've done took a grinder (gently and dipping the blade in water often) to my GEC Tidioute Scout's Spey blade to make it more of a Spear. I ain't against "F" ing up a knife to suit me!

That one suits me as is!!!!
