Hello, I found an old knife my owns. How can I identify the maker and age? I would like to clean it for him. What products are used to clean this of knife? I hope the attached pictures provide enough information. Thank you

Re: Identification
Are there any markings on it? Looks to me like a Japan made knife from the 1950's to 60's.

Re: Identification
The only thing I saw was what look like a circle possibly on the blade beside the handle.

Re: Identification
I believe Steve is right. Definitely looks to be Japanese made from 1950's or 60's. Could be Korium brand or any number of different manufacturers. I don't think any difference of manufacture would affect much different value. Looks to be in pretty good shape with nice, jigged bone handles. There are many posts on this site about cleaning.

If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
