If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Found a couple from a little journey from a few years ago. The other side of the train is Ole Mexico.

Nice shots, it can be difficult to get an Amtrak pic unless it is at a stop. I know how fast they travel, and I know how fast traffic can move on I 70 in central Missouri, so my first thought was that you took that pic at 80 mph. Then, I reread your post and realized you were traveling in opposite directions. Good work getting those pics, you would have had to been quick.

Sweet shots, bighomer! 😎👍

Yesterday, I was able to access the B&O Room at the Allegany Museum in Cumberland, MD. So much awesome memorabilia. I'm posting more on my YouTube channel too.

Good morning Ike
We are on our way home from dropping Lindsay at Whiteman. We were MO Route 50 between Knobnoster and Warrrensburg. Posted 60 mph I’m sure we were doing about 70mph in the same direction. The funny part was one of the doors were open on the train.

That old Queen City Station Hotel was a classic piece of architecture. What a shame that it wasn't saved from the wrecking ball.

It was in grave disrepair, and then severely shadowed by the cross-town bridge for 68. It is sad that this icon was lost.

The picture of the train station was taken at a standstill, we went in and got snacks and such while they change the cars around, we boarded in Little Rock Ark,and went San Antonio tx and they changed up the order of the cars and then in El Paso they did it again. We started out in the middle, and in San Antonio we wound up in the front section and at El Paso we were in the back portion."which was a pain because we had to walk a country mile to the dining car"The photo of the train engines was taken in a heck of a curve as we were leaving heading west out of El Paso. Some more photos of the beginning and the end of our journey.

The boss is trying to get a nap in Little Rock the train startion. The train was couple of hours late we actually made up the time and arrive on time in LA.
A few photos of the LA station.

How did you come up with that obscurity? I have never been to Wauconda, when doin a little search on the town I discovered that there was once a short line.......
My user name was taken from a street name in a town in Michigan where I used to live, only it was spelled with a "K" instead of "C". Nice video!

Yeah, but some people are so highly regarded that they have a general store and Friday night jamboree dedicated to their name!

Train related but not train, behind the shop about 200 yds away a helicopter landed with a giant tree trimming saw attached. He is trimming trees on the rail line nearby. Second pic is from a little town about 6 miles away where I got stopped for the crew to come through.
