I see why you like it. This is a nice sensible fixed blade that seems like it wouldn't scare normies. Good find ::tu::

sensible is a good word - toted it most of the week, it’s a joy to have handy.

That SOG Agency is a sweet knife. ::ds::
I love mine even though I've never actually used it. It's a shame they discontinued them.

::tu:: Ken! I will never use mine either. The Agency has become valuable and collectible, though Taiwan made. I got this one as part of a trade.

An old Anton Wingen Jr. I know it's at least 60 yrs old. Maybe more. Needs tightened up, pommel turns a bit, antler is fading. Otherwise decent shape.

Tongueriver, That is a traditional Japanese Hunting Knife. The carbon steel is very sharp. The "sheath" and handle are wrapped in bamboo. The maker is unknown.

Thanks bud. Check out page 219 of this thread. A sweet little Western with Orvet stag handles that you commented on. And 20 or so pages back from there is my fave Becker BK-9. There are a few of mine back there a ways.

Mora knives are possibly the best buy on the planet for everyday use, and they do not come from a country that is an enemy of the U.S.
