A diffrent Brand of a knife (New Company?)
Howdy Y' all! Today, I just came back from a local Gun store; and saw something of interest, but.... I never heard of this company, so I don't want to get duped
So is there anybody heard of Cobratec Knives fully auto knife, it's got a mark D 2 on the blade. but it does not state what country it's from, and it claims to have a lifetime warrantee. So Help me out here.. Many Thanks!

Not new. I looked at their products at the NRA show in Dallas a few years ago. They had a booth. Nice folks, I think it’s a family owned company. I was impressed with the knives I saw and handled there, but not being a fan of automatics I haven’t owned or used one. (Nothing against them, just not my thing).
Here’s the link to their website. https://cobratecknives.com/. There’s also a few posts about them on AAPK search.php?keywords=Cobratec&fid%5B0%5D=86

bought one for $80, it worked about 10 times. returned to company, got it back and worked about 5 times. Sold for $40 and was happy to see it go. made in CHINA! assembled in USA. I know of 2 others with no complaints but they never carry them? Buy American, pay more, be happy!! There is no good reason to buy CHINA.

I’ve bought three of the USB stick sized OTFs. I put one on my chain and gave the other two away as small gifts to friends. They are also sold as Bokers. I’ve also bought one out-the-side side auto that I have used as a work knife outside around the house. No complaints other than that the out-the-side is a little chunky in hand.
As was mentioned, D2 from China and assembly in USA. Bought all of them on sale and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if the price was right for the intended purpose. Wouldn’t trade my Benchmades for one, but I wouldn’t stick my Benchmades in the dirt or the dishwasher either. I will my Cobratec.

I would always assume that a newy made knife that is not marked with a country of origin would be Chinese made.
