Man that's cool with the swayback like curves, looks like full blades, and great looking wood. Great condition. Another outstanding piece.

George Wostenholm, dated 1940 and features the Broad Arrow. I would love to see what this knife has seen in 82 years. I wonder if it saw action in WWII? Main blade is loose, both liners are badly bent, and it's seen a ton of hard use.
The pliers are also stamped with the Broad Arrow. What is confusing is that they are stamped 1952, but that was stamped over 1945 with the Canadian version of the Broad Arrow.
They are Elliot Lucas. I love how Lucas are made, but they're tough to find in the States. Company was sold a couple of times, and those I can get now are made in India. When I discovered that it had a WWII mark, I immediately retired them.

Cool find Cody. I agree, what stories one could hear if they could only talk. The second stamp on the pliers was more than likely a transfer to service re-acceptance confirmation for the Canadian Military. This has happened before with bayonets and rifles. The M1917 made in the U.S. had some produced for export to Great Britain where it was designated the P13. It and the bayonets for them were stamped with the British acceptance mark. Later in their lives they were some sent to Canada, where the British marks were marked through and the Canadian acceptance mark were stamped on them.cody6268 wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 6:03 pm George Wostenholm, dated 1940 and features the Broad Arrow. Just acquired a very nice Miller Bros sheepsfoot jack, 3 3/8", very little use, all steel construction, wonderful pick bone and a great swedge on the pile side of main blade, to me it looks streamline, aero or Art Deco.
