Help with info on this Buck knife!!!

Post by Chaser81 »

I got my second Buck knife up the other day but I don’t know anything about it other than the sheath says 120 on it. I paid $50 for it. Any info would greatly appreciated!

The knife is a Model 120. Also known as the General. The inverted tang stamp might depict an older model but I don’t know enough about fixed blades to say for sure.

Good deal for sure. You have what is called a 2 line stamp on your knife with no model number. That would put your knife in the 1967-1972 time frame. If you had paid twice the price you still would have a good deal.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
