Normal Production Run??

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Normal Production Run??

Post by josephashaw »

Does anyone know what the normal production (how many manufactured) of any particular Camillus knife in a particular year in the 1990-2006? I had recently purchased a Commerative knife that was #819 out of 1000 produced.....which leads to the natural question, of how many knives were normally produced for each model of knife for any given year? Thanks for any thoughts on this.

To my knowledge, that information is not available. Tom Williams was the Camillus company historian, but unfortunately he passed several years ago. If that information is available, it will likely be on the Collectors of Camillus website. http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/
You might contact Larry Vickery, the creator of Collectors of Camillus. Larry will probably known if that information was available, and where to find it if it is available.
