That's one good looking "Doc's" P/B you have there, Jh, very cool indeed!Jhannah wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 4:25 pm Lets see those Parker's
This was actually the very first Parker I've ever had thru my collecting years, a very good friend just gave it to me day before yesterday. Love it, very good knife. One-arm pill buster, cut bone handle (?). Love learning about my knives. Thank you!

Thats a beauty Q - like everything about the lines of that knife. My most recent acquisition ... like these MIJ bone handled Parkers - this one is an oddball - it's a single blade, locking sowbelly.
pffffft that's not a knife ......... now THAT'S a knife !! Crocodile Dundee

I liked the lines and the stag on that one too, John...unfortunately, the blade/tang was tweaked at the pivot and it had no snap
I like your single blade sowbelly LB...I used to have one of those...that's one I probably shoulda hung onto

Q - I hear ya, sometimes the beauty queens just don't work out. Funny you had one of those locking sowbelly's - don't see many of those come around

Re: Lets see those Parker's
If a congress has 4 blades and a half congress has 2 blades does that make this a 3 quarter or 2 thirds congress? Enquiring minds want to know, and what do you call 5 and six blade congress pattern knives.? Huh.
