For some reason I like everything about this old Chicago Cutlery Stockman.
Carbon blades, walnut wood handles, brass pins, liners and bolsters with a brass shield.
It just feels right in my hand and in my pocket..... :D

The only time that you post a new knife , and I actually recognize the name, is when you post one of these Butterfly knives. That is because they advertise on the NHL on TNT. That is a decent looking knife to start off the week.

That was strictly a "tongue in cheek" comment considering how far down the rung ebony knives are to most collectors. Though I am always happy to find a Thomaston in any configuration.

Handsome Case that you just posted, Kerry.

Thanks Ike. It's a nice little knife. Fit and finish are very nice, great snap too!
As far as the "collector" thing. The way I look at it is if you like it in your collection, then that's all that matters. Great ebony is probably more rare than bone, but I get the way it is. Personally, I love a great wood handle knife. Especially a rare one!

::oh_my:: That just knocked my shoes and socks clean off! Thanks, Ike, but I bet the rest of this week will disappoint you. 🤭

Thanks, toomany. ::handshake:: I did the scale/frame swap myself, just some basic wrench turning. 😉 Is the Sodbuster gumfuddy?
