GENERAL IDEA OF VALUE

Hello all I work at a shop in Tulsa and I am looking to see the value of some things we recently purchased. I have read through the posts and I am just looking for a general Idea.. I don't want to loose money nor do we want to hang on to these Case XX knives . We recently bought around 100 different knives and sets. Most are easy enough to identify but others appear to be a bit different. I have had difficulty valuing the engraved bolsters and numbers listed.. Thanks for your help !

You can try doing a Completed Listings search via eBay to get some idea-

I agree ebay sold listings are a good, easily accessible source for estimated values of an item. The knives you have shown should all have a pattern number stamped on them so searching for those items using the pattern number will in most cases give you what you seek. As for the engraved bolsters and numbers, those add value only to someone who cares about them. To everyone else it’s just another knife. Most buyers likely have no idea what they mean - whoever sold them to you might know, but you’d need to get the info from them. If you want to move the knives, price them as if the embellishments do not exist. If you want to chance finding a buyer who cares, and can wait, then mark them up and see if anyone bites. You can always lower the price later.

Thanks everyone.. Yes that is what we do normally we look at completed ebay listings or even current listings just to get an idea. But most of the ones I have posted are a bit more intricate and ornate. I have been able to see some values and generally speaking some of them are more collectable. The one with the band in the middle with the engraved case logo turned out to be one of 500 and decently valued.. Again the internet is always right . Thanks for your help and we look forward to posting some of our knives on your website.. We now have a large stock of really cool knives .
