In praise of the venerable Congress! The Knife one...

Not a congress pattern, yet still a congress knife. 3&1/2" long swell center whittler. I don't think this pattern was called Tuxedo when it was made in the mid 1800s. One broken blade, other blades well worn but I couldn't pass it up. Nice ivory scales.

This is my favorite congress. My father gave it to my grandfather in 1970 for my grandfather’s 70th birthday. It’s cut a lot a lot of plugs. Transition knife.
