Now that is a fine congress knife right there.

Re: Congress Is In Session!
I’m glad to know what these bolsters are called.
I have quite a few that I haven’t photographed but here are some recent acquisitions. Congresses are almost the highest count in my collection. Barlows are ahead by a few.
These are all German made. Top is a Henckels made by Boker with red pin feather jigged bone. Marbles made by Bulldog with Micarta handles and the bottom two are Hen and Roosters.

Re: Congress Is In Session!
I picked up this Congress today at the fleamarket. There are no markings or tangstamps on any of the blades. It is of shell handle construction, and has faux rat tail bolsters, so it probably is Imperial. Imperial had the patent on shell handles, but why wouldnt it be marked???? Blades are in decent shape, think I will carry it awhile. Anyone have any other idea who made it?

Not too recently, my visit to the post office produced this Coca-Cola, Congress, pattern or style of pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. At the time, it also became the latest example to be added to my general, CAMILLUS, pocket knife collection. It is a CAMILLUS 712, four blades, four tang stamps, one blade stamp, one bolster etch, 3 1/2" closed, two springs, advertising, Congress, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade (wonda edge) front tang stamp (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The main blade (wonda edge) back tang stamp says "712", the pattern number. The third blade front tang stamp (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The third blade back tang stamp says "712", the pattern number. The main blade (wonda edge) front stamp says, "WORLD'S FIRST 1993 Coca-Cola BOTTLER" The right front bolster has "063" etched on it. The main handle side says, "Coca-Cola", along with the double line, oval, "CAMILLUS" shield. The other handle side says, "CHATTANOOGA Coca-Cola" The main blade (wonda edge) does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade (wonda edge) does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade (wonda edge) does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a SOFT half stop. The secondary blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The third blade does have a SOFT half stop. The third blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The third blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The fourth blade does have a SOFT half stop. The fourth blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The fourth blade does have a GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife came with a box and paperwork. I do not know if this is the box and or the paperwork that this pocket knife originally came with. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Not a congress pattern, yet still a congress knife. 3&1/2" long swell center whittler. I don't think this pattern was called Tuxedo when it was made in the made in the mid 1800s. One broken blade, other blades well worn but I couldn't pass it up. Nice ivory scales.

I've always appreciated how Case throws in 4 different blades.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
