Gerber made several variations of their "flat" sharpener over the years. I have examples that are unmarked, some with a small GERBER, some with larger lettering, some with the curve on the chisel end (as pictured in this thread), and with straight chisel. They made them in the pictured 4 and 8 inch versions. I have heard stories about a twelve inch model, but have never seen one. Perhaps the 12 incher is only legend.
The Shorty/steel combo appears to be in excellent condition. I'll have several Shorty, Flayer, Magnum, Big Hunter combos with either steel or Pixie at the Tulsa show this weekend.
