This old Electrician knife is 4 3/4" closed. There is no stamp on either blade. Has incredibly strong back springs, and no locking mechanism for the screw driver.
Just wondering if anyone has seen another this size?
Any information would be appreciated.

But, it is a G@@D LKING electrician knife.

I spotted these at the Baltimore Antique Arms Show last weekend. I’d never seen an original box before then.
If the whole thing hadn’t been $300, they should have come home with me to live with the rest of my Signal Corps stuff.

If it had been like $150-$160 instead of $300, I wouldn’t have even hesitated. As much as I love a good TL-29, with that price I couldn’t justify buying something that’d never see the inside of a CS-34 or strip a piece of assault wire.

With so much discussion about the TL -29 knives I thought I would post this old blueprint I found some where. I thought it was interesting.

Also here is a picture of the Camillus model 27 that I carry every day. Texas Ebony handles and a screw driver delete. Stays scary sharp Unique enough that every one that see it wants to have a look at it.

I also put this in the Broken, Battered & Abused section, but thought you gentleman might enjoy this as well.

Well, I have a love affair with the Signal Corps, Electrician & TL-29 knives in ANY condition.

Top- Ulster with great snap on both blades & obviously the blade itself had snap.

Middle- Signal Corps. When I got it I thought the blade was broken off, but it is completely gone. I’m hoping to figure out who it’s made by & maybe find a donor knife & someone who can change the blade, cause it’s really in pretty good shape. And, it’s my first Signal Corps knife, been looking a long time for one.

Bottom- Challenge Cutlery. Actually in good condition except for front scale, which at some point I hope to find someone who can repair or replace it.

And, yes I know I am a terrible photographer. I am photographically challenged.

Here’s a couple of Challenge electrician knives that appear to have seen just a little use. One spear and one sheep’s foot. 3 3/4” long with locking screwdriver blades that are released by depressing the master. Half stops on the masters with snaps like a gator.

I just picked up this electrician knife. Well-made but I have never heard of the brand Holub of Sycamore Illinois. Does anyone know of this brand? Thanks for the information ahead of time.

Has anyone ever seen a Colonial electrician with TL-29 stamped on the front scale? I have seen it on many knives, but never a colonial. I have also not seen the removable bail on a real TL-29.

Still looking for the Case with shield, and USMC versions if anyone has one they would be willing to part with!

I have seen a colonial TL-29 stamped previously. I think they were made post WW2. Great condition!
