2 triangular socket bayonets British ??
Could use some help with these 2 . FIL paid 20 bucks at auction for these and am helping him to figure out what he bought . Overall length is 25 1/4 inches long . Socket is 3 inches long and inside diameter is approximately 1 inch . The research that I’ve done leads me to believe they are British stamped models 1895 or 1876 . Bayonets are way out of my wheelhouse so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I believe them to be M1876 bayonets, although the muzzle ring ID does not match. The 1876 rings had an ID of about 0.71 inches. Definitely NOT M1895s which had a smaller (0.65 inches) ID.
