Well it’s almost that time of year here in the Badger state for the 2025 Knife show in Janesville. Haven’t talked w/ Keith ( Ozzie Marie) or Mr Erickson or Ryan Daniel’s but have spoke with a number of Badger club vendors and they’re excited. Hope the weather is nice that weekend so we can get out and support all the vendors and have some fellowship. Maybe see Rookie there this year . Missed you last year .
Hope to meet more of you there . ::tu:: ::tu::

Wish I could make it this year, but sadly I won't be able to. Take some pictures to post and show how it all goes.

I thought about wearing my aapk t shirt, but i feel like you could probably rename this the "guy with black tshirt and blue jeans" show, so I'll probably go with some high visibility tye dye. Excited to meet you and your knife crew. Ill be traveling solo, my oldest is a few years young yet.

As of today I plan on going. I will see how I feel on Friday. Already made up a couple of hours of time at work this week have a hour group meeting that will be listening to on the way up.

Remember all of my stuff was my father’s and is for sale. It belongs to my siblings and I. I am the curator. If there is anything you may be looking for please feel free to post or send a PM I would be happy to dig through and see if I have anything.

Good evening JP
Is the top knife in the picture a 2008 badger club knife?
Asking because that is the year my dad past. He was packed up and heading to the march show 17 years next Friday. I'm not collecting as per say but I may be interested if I could find one of those.
Thank you Steve

I'm really going to miss going to the show. I've been battling in my mind going or not, but any trip over an hour away just messes with my legs and back and 5 or 6 hours down and 6 more coming home the next day is really pushing it. It's been a couple years and I used to travel with a friend from Duluth that liked to drive and haven't gone since he passed away. I'll miss seeing and getting to know you guys.____Dave

Glad I made it to the show today. It was nice to meet some fellow AAPK members. I did not find anything I had to have. I enjoyed walking talking and looking at knives. Thank you again to JP for the BOMB, it’s on the correct thread.

It was a pleasure to meet my fellow knife enthusiasts in person today at the show. There was of course a ton of great knives, but mostly I enjoyed the camaraderie. JP and your buddies, Keith and Steve; thanks for making a reltative new comer feel welcome in the community, both with your friendship and generous gifts. Had such a fun day. Am definitely feeling inspired and excited to make more time in my day for my knife endeavors. As for the knives, I found a few ::paranoid:: ::tounge::

The black Imperial with orange lanyard is particularly homely. It is, however, probably my favorite find, even beating out two dynamite Aerials. They're still easy to find, but it's not something I thought to buy until I saw this one today, right inside the front door for $2. It's the first knife I can remember my father buying for me when I was in towe at a trapping show a few decades ago. My son wasn't with me today, but he and I were both excited to add it to his collection when we got home.
