That's a fine old knife.

While I do appreciate American-made pruners, I prefer English models as M.B. does.
Here are three old American flat cap models from the early 1900s.
Ulster on top, Holley in the middle, and a Keen Kutter with blade etch on the bottom.

I have a Holley in jigged bone, same heavy brass butt cap.

Here's a Brit that checks all my boxes:Triple-fluted, integral bolsters, blade stamp, company address on tang, big fat butt, and snaps like a dragon. J.O'.

Thanks, and nice jigged bone model as well.
Holley certainly used thick butt caps on their pruners.

Thanks doglegg and Ridgegrass, and that Wade Wingfield & Rowbotham is a good looking knife with those triple fluted bolsters.
