Starting the workweek with a KK Dogleg that Herb made into a single for me due to a snapped off Pen blade.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Looking good gents! I'm carrying my 1970 ten dot Case 61048 Slim Line Barehead Trapper today. This knife just fits in my pocket so well with its slim design. Case built good knives in the 70"s.

woodwalker, Your Slim Line Barehead Trapper is nifty, i.e. very practical. I've always liked this pattern.

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Klein Tools coping knife and a '63 Zippo.
I've honestly got no idea how old the Klein is. There's no date code following the standard convention, just "S-1" above the regular stamp. I presume '70s or '80s given the age of the rest of the Kleins that came from the gentleman who gave me this one (a second one of these had a late '80s code). Only other one I have with an "S-" style tang stamp is a three-blade electrician with "S-3".
I don't smoke, but recently got into Zippos for some reason--mostly just use them for utility type purposes. Carried this one today, as I needed it to use some heat shrink tubing to protect the edges (and my fingers!) on a couple of scribe awls.

I'm happy to hear that you're on the mend, Kerry, I wasn't aware you'd been sick.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 2:52 pm Wow! I take a couple of weeks off to get over a lovely bout of COVID, and you all go crazy with the fantastic EDC's! Some beautiful knives everyone!
I just got out for the first time Thursday and went to my flea market that usually has a few thing. All I found was a rusty old Schrade Copehagen jack. I kinda like the serrated sheepsfoot. It was so rusty, it wouldn't even open, but after some soaking and cleaning, it works great and will make a good EDC. All for a whopping $5.00 bill! What fun!

Nice job you did on your knife, I can't think of a better time for knife repairs than when one is cooped-up at home.
