Boker Tree Brand Knives

I have acquired several new in the box, Boker Tree brand knives. They appear to be part of a set of 12 Great American Story Knives. It says limited edition collectors item on the boxes. All the knives are either 2 or 3 blade stockmans with delrin handles. Do these have any value at all? Anyone have some for sale, or looking for a few to finish out a set?

R.C., I'm sorry to see this question go unanswered.

Just from my point of view I'd say that the Boker line is a good investment.

I don't know if C. Houston Price is someone that has a good reputation or not, but in the Fourteenth Edition of the Official Price Guide to Collector Knives he describes Boker as "..one of the oldest in American cutlery...". Although they did import knives from Germany they also had knives made for them in the United States by Valley Forge Cutlery Company of Newark, New Jersey. They eventually had their own manufacturing facility in Maplewood, New Jersey.

For the American made purist I'm sure those American made knives would be a bigger draw, but as an American company I think Boker should have a following. If not I suggest we start one.

Personally, I just fell for a double sheild Boker canoe which I hope to receive soon.

These "Boker USA" knives can range from $18-30. They are typically a lower quality Boker knife and not really desirable by many.
